Even if you are lucky to live in a place that has a warmer climate most of the time, you always need a sock that's just a tad thicker for those few cool days.Being from Melbourne.......The Merino sock is 100% needed for about a third of the year if you want to have a comfortable ride in winter and spring time.Merino Wool is pretty common and used pretty much everywhere today, but that doesn't stray away from how effective and good a wool it

A Merino sock is a must have in any cyclists wardrobe! So my testing procedure for each of the 3 styles that were tested before landing on the final Merino sock was to wear the sock for 7 days straight, which included riding in them, commuting in them, shopping and doing the daily chores in them and on 2 occasions have a few drinks and a boogie in them!!!

This style of testing seems to have worked and landed Zeffz on the Merino Cactus sock which has good warmth, strong abrasion resistance, a high level of stretch and recovery and probably the most important was that after 7 days of testing the Merino socks barely smelt at all which is another great characteristic of Merino Wool.

This sock is great for late winter and early spring but I wouldn't call this a true winter riding sock as I feel it's to thin for days when the chill is really hitting hard. Next winter I hope to produce a true winter weight sock that can be your trusty weapon on those rude cold days, but let's face it, even with the best winter sock you will still need to put on some kind of bootie to protect you from the wind and rain(at least I know I do).

Overall I would rate this sock as a great race sock for winter and spring as being Merino Wool it gives you the advantage that when wet it will still keep your feet warm and comfortable while keeping this sock quite thin won't stretch out your shoes like thicker socks will and on colder race days combine with a wind proof bootie makes this sock a great choice.

Start w riting your post here. This meant having many different colour combos to match kits, helmets, sunglasses, shoes, bikes and moods.

I found the best way to achieve this was by making socks available to all at a price ALL could afford! whether you're a poor struggling student or CEO of a fortune 500 company everyone can afford to have the best cycling socks on their feet and have the luxury of purchasing as many as they think they need or more.

Some may start thinking by now that a more affordable sock means less quality and poor design......NO! Zeffz socks are created with durability, comfort and design in mind. Being a Textile Designer and having worked with many brands during my career I have become privy to some of the best manufacturers in the world and with my background in textile product development I have been able to create what I think is one of the best most comfortable and durable cycling socks available on the market today.

All I can tell you is that Zeffz socks are the real deal and I guarntee you that once you try on your first pair of Zeffz socks you'll wonder why you went and paid $30 for one pair when you just bought 3 pairs of better socks for $20.

Remember you can now buy 3 pairs of any sock for only $20 just use the coupon code 'socks20' when you're at the checkout.

Happy riding

Cam Zeffz
